Bärbel Dieckmann

Images Of People

Sculpture from terracotta to bronze casting. The exhibition shows clearly how I create a bronze individually according to my artistic style. I work on the theme of humans in different variations - my main theme is mythological sculptures based on ancient archetypes.

Portraits are a large part of my work. Last year I met the former Federal President. modeled for the Federal President's Office near the Hansaviertel. I find it exciting to meet people who inspire my sculptures. This also includes my former studio mate Claudia Maluenda. Our conversations about dance inspired me to create many dancer characters.

In the exhibition I show a cross-section of my work and am open to questions and suggestions.

Merav Leibküchler

Infinite Forms of Matter

- Paintings, drawings -

In these works, Leibküchler explores the organic dynamics of change and ongoing evolution in nature. Her canvases serve as experimental fields in which she explores the changes and inexhaustible possibilities of formations in the natural world and the universe. They reflect the random evolution, constant movement and transformation of structures, colors and shapes - a story of perpetual change and infinite diversity rooted in every aspect of nature.

Merav Leibküchler is a multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. She holds a master's degree in fine arts from the Berlin University of the Arts and training in contemporary dance from the Matte Asher School for Performing Arts at Kibbutz Gaaton in Israel. Her artistic practice spans various media including painting, drawing, installations and performances. Her diverse work has been presented internationally in solo and group exhibitions, and she has received numerous awards and scholarships. Inspired by philosophy, metaphysics and science, her art explores profound concepts such as the nature of existence, the interplay of time and space, and the complexities of reality and perception.
